Welcome to Franky´s burger
After a trip to USA in 2013, Shahram, the founder, at the time a dedicated carpenter, knew immediately that food was going to be his new path in life.
Shortly after that inspirational trip, the idea of bringing high-quality and honest made street food to Stockholm’s streets was born. Within a year, after a lot of research and dedicated work the idea was finally realized. Franky´s burgers and sausages was born, in a 12 square meter NYC inspired street-grill at Sveavägen in Stockholm City. From this space the founder made his first burgers with love, patties made of high quality own minced meet and freshly baked buns, never compromising with the quality and always making sure every burger was given the same love and attention.
Despite any marketing, the rumors about Franky´s burgers spread fast. The street-grill was frequently listed as one of Stockholm’s best burger joints and the lines of craving loyal fans grew long, in fact so long that keeping up with the demand became close to impossible from such a small tiny place. Despite hick ups with the space the determination was on top to launch the sausages as next big thing. All though the story of the sausages was a great success, it turned out to be a short one, without an honest chance to be established as it was intended to, because by now the space challenge was no longer to be ignored.
It was by now time, time to turn things up a notch. In August 2017, after facing some challenges the street-grill moved into a slightly bigger location a couple of streets up to Tegnérgatan. The ideas about the sausages were put on the shelf and focus was directed on getting Franky´s famous burgers reintroduced, this time as a burger bar. New address, with some new features but mostly things were kept as they were intended to, simple, NYC inspired, with the same high-quality burgers at the heart of the place.
The story about Franky´s famous burgers continues, and who knows maybe one day the famous sausages find their way back on the menu too, but for now we continue focusing all our passion on serving all Franky´s friends and burger lovers in town great burgers made with love. Franky´s has been honored with numerous reviews and recommendations from all its amazing guests over the years. We thank all of you for being part of our journey and forming our Franky´s friend´s community.
